In many cities and towns smoking marijuana is a little or no crime at all but growing or distributing the drug still gets you in big trouble. Growing or using pot for medicinal purposes is widely accepted but it can only be grown up to a certain amount. Most voters want police to stop arresting the casual pot smoker, but they also want the drug to still be illegial. As of now the state of Colorado has taken all laws of possesion are taken out of our law books. Thirteen states allow medical use of marijuana with a prescription from the doctor and the governer of the state.
